Topic: PHP Compiling Error

Hello Everyone.

I have a PHP compiling error. Trying to follow this article. http://deekayen.net/drupal-snow-leopard
Trying to backgrade to PHP 5.3 to PHP 5.2.

Can anyone clarify what this line is.

Add -lresolv on EXTRA_LIBS in Makefile, or you'll get an error with dns.o right at the end of the compile.

Although it pains me to inflate Joel Spolsky's ego even more, I must admit there's a lot of great info on stackoverflow.  The functionality of the site and user base have really encouraged quality, compared to train-wrecks like expert sexchange uh experts exchange.

'experts exchange' is a joke. I'm surprised anybody even takes it seriously.

But the best resources for tech info are always going to be USENET and mailing lists. Old-school, anyone?
